WOOD SHAVINGS
Common Uses: Animal Bedding, Packaging Material, Horticulture, Composting
Source: By-product of kiln-dried sawn timber and planed boards from hardwoods and softwoods
Description:
Wood Shavings are light, fluffy, and clean by-products produced during the planing and milling of lumber. At Timber Experts Global Holdings, our wood shavings are generated from carefully selected and kiln-dried hardwoods and softwoods — including Rubberwood, Pine, and mixed tropical species — to ensure low moisture content, minimal dust, and maximum absorbency.
They are widely used in animal bedding for poultry, horses, cattle, and pets, thanks to their hygienic, cushioning, and odor-controlling properties. Our wood shavings are available in various flake sizes, baled and compressed for efficient storage and transport, and dust-extracted to improve health and safety in livestock environments.
