RUBBER WOOD

Rubber Wood is a sustainable and eco-friendly hardwood sourced from the Hevea brasiliensis tree — the same tree cultivated for natural latex production. After its productive latex-tapping cycle (usually 25–30 years), the tree is harvested for timber rather than being discarded or burned, making Rubber Wood an excellent example of resource-efficient plantation forestry.

Description:
Rubber Wood is a sustainable and eco-friendly hardwood sourced from the Hevea brasiliensis tree — the same tree cultivated for natural latex production. After its productive latex-tapping cycle (usually 25–30 years), the tree is harvested for timber rather than being discarded or burned, making Rubber Wood an excellent example of resource-efficient plantation forestry.

It is a light-colored, moderately hard, and dimensionally stable wood that is widely used in furniture, interior components, and woodcrafts. Thanks to its fine grain and good machining characteristics, Rubber Wood is often treated as an affordable alternative to higher-end species for mass-market applications.
